Clean Water Services - Education & Outreach
This 1.5-hour session helps foster early literacy and STEAM skills while teaching the importance of clean water. We're thrilled to announce that Marisol will be visiting Preschool Promise classrooms over the next few months, inspiring young learners about this crucial topic!
About Clean Water Services:
We are a water utility agency serving Washington County, committed to cleaning wastewater and returning it to the Tualatin River for reuse.
Our educational programs are designed to help people of all ages learn about water systems and how each of us can play a role in keeping our water clean. Our goal is to support educators and create connections to relevant topics, cultivating a sense of wonder about water, the systems we use to manage it, and our environment.
Timeline
Our goal is to bring the Water Journey program to all Preschool Promise classrooms from October 2024 to April 2025, inspiring young learners to explore the importance of clean water and environmental stewardship.
Lesson Objectives:

This lesson aims to support educators and build connections to relevant topics. We want to foster a sense of wonder about our water, the systems we use to manage it, and the impact on the environment.
