School Based Health Centers
School Based Health Centers provide primary care, well-child checks, sports physicals, immunizations, sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing, treatment for minor injuries, and mental health for students living in the district
Schools, Parents, And Communities Engaged (SPACE)
Schools, Parents, And Communities Engaged (SPACE) for African Student Success was developed by The Center for African Immigrants and Refugees Organization (CAIRO) to provide mentoring and tutoring support for school-age students in some Beaverton and Hillsboro schools to ensure students’ success. The mentors and tutors speak a variety of African languages and who understand the experience of immigration and diverse African cultural perspectives and values.
