In our bilingual English/Spanish program, we believe children learn by playing. We encourage and facilitate child directed exploration. Roxy’s Preschool and Daycare respects the unique identity of each child and their family.
The daily activities, transitions and routines are carefully planned. Daily routines include math, science, nutrition, literacy, reading and writing (Spanish /English), physical activity, logical thinking, and problem solving. These are based on the Creative Curriculum. We use the “Early Reading First Program,” a Language and Emergent Literacy: Research-Based Practice for Diverse Young Learners. We use the ASQ and Teaching Strategies Gold Assessments to monitor each child’s developmental progress. Quarterly conferences are held with each family where goals are set for their child.
We welcome families from all cultures and countries. Parents are encouraged to participate in activities and share their own culture and believes to enrich our school preschool program. Our doors are open to children with disabilities. Our training helps us provide appropriate services and we can assist parents finding appropriate resources.

With over 40 years of experience in early childhood education, I bring a deep passion for preschool learners in inclusive and welcoming spaces. I hold a BA in ECE, and I’m a master trainer, and have extensive experience working with children of all abilities. Our preschool proudly offers a dual language program, celebrating diversity and ensuring every child — and every family — feels supported, seen, and empowered.”
