Culturally Responsive and Inclusive Programs

Yes, we mainly have teachers from several different cultures and work with families from all over the world.

Educational Philosophy or Approach

We believe that young children must have high self-esteem in order to reach their potential growth. For a child to develop high self-esteem, we focus on developing the socialization and self-help skills needed to succeed in other areas of development. All children at Little Explorer Montessori LLC are given the opportunity to explore, experiment, and create in a safe and nurturing environment. Children must feel safe and valued before they can learn. First and foremost, our program will ensure children’s physical and psychological safety needs are met. Next to physical well-being, a child’s most pressing, most persistent need is bonding – the social and emotional connection that results from caring relationships with others. When children are socially and emotionally supported by caring adults, their prospects for learning are wonderfully enhanced. At Little Explorer, diversity is valued and celebrated. Through inclusive practices, we develop patience, acceptance, helpfulness, diversity, and compassion. Little Explorer welcomes all children and families with open arms. Age-appropriate tasks we offer at Little Explorer Montessori helps children gain an introduction to basic readiness concepts. These learning domains will include Social/Emotional Development, Physical Development, Cognitive Development, and Language Development, as well as development in the areas of Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and the Arts.
