Educational Philosophy or Approach

At CAIRO Academy, we believe that every child deserves a chance to flourish in a safe environment designed to encourage creativity, equity and learning. Our curriculum draws on the values and approach from Montessori, Reggio Emelia and creative curriculum. This approach requires teachers to thoughtfully attend to the interests of children, believing that student driven curiosity and reflection strengthens the capacity of students to be life-long learners. Students are encouraged to represent their learning in art and words as well as through their play and conversations.
